Sketches Windecken

I have lived in Windecken, Germany for quite a few years, but I never took the time to appreciate the local architecture. Although it is nothing grand, it is still very quaint. Here are my first two sketches:

The first is the Hexenturm [the witch tower], in witch, I mean in which, women who were accused of being witches were locked away.

The second sketch is the local Protestant church. It was first mentioned in the city records in 1282.

  1. These are AWESOME Phil. And I definitely recognized them. I loved that Hexenturm growing up. Walking through the town that had so much personality somehow helped me get through every day.
